Dr Carl Thompson qualified from the Royal Veterinary College with an Honours degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2008, and is recognised as an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Before setting up My Home Pet Vet, Carl has worked in a variety of practices ranging from traditional mixed animal practice to out of hours clinics. He worked for 11years in a small animal practice in Worcester, where he became an RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.

Reducing stress for your pet, and increasing convenience for you. Our well equipped mobile veterinary surgery enables additional services to be provided on your doorstep.

Our vets are members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the British Veterinary Association and Federation of Independent Veterinary Practices. We have close links with local “bricks and mortar” practices and also with our colleagues in referral centres. We are able to use these links if there are situations that need more advanced care beyond that of our mobile surgery.
